IRADe will set up partnerships and bring the partners together to combine analytical skills of academics, ground level knowledge and communication skills of NGOs, financial management ability of the corporate sectors and understanding of policy framework of national and international administrators. This unique institute will work to exploit synergies to increase effectiveness through research, public policy forums and capacity building.
From such an institute, cadres of professionals can emerge that can learn from their experiences and incorporate their concerns in their analyses. Through such partnerships they can design appropriate solutions and implement them in field level conditions.

Local problems of poverty, degraded environment, poor terms of trade, inadequate infrastructure and weak bargaining power of the poor and of women will be and how, these local problems are affected by globalization, positively and negatively.
Developing countries including India need well-researched strategies that could be put forward as alternatives in international negotiations. Such strategies have to be evolved with well-structured research programme and through consensus building.
The Institute therefore, will operate at the grassroots, national and international level and will interact with international bodies and experts. It will give attention to capacity building for such holistic thinking among the various stakeholders through interactive training programmes.
