Research Skills: Quantitative and qualitative research techniques used for economic analysis in the field of environment such as valuation of non-market commodities, cost benefit analysis and ecological-economic modelling. Familiar with popular software packages such as Limdep, Vensim and GIS.

Experiences/Training:

  1. Greenpeace
    Volunteer
    Volunteered for a project on industrial related pollution at Patancheru. Interviewing and reporting the experiences of the chronically ill.

  2. Avrr Trust
    Field Investigator
    Survey on health and other socio-economic effects of industrial pollution in Patancheru mandal. A family health record created, for each household.

  3. University Grants Commission
    Field Investigator
    A socio-economic survey in Serilingampalli municipality. Under the supervision of Prof Naresh Sharma, University of Hyderababd, INDIA.
 

Projects:

  • MSc thesis on risk perception and choice behavior of stakeholders involved in horticultural trade; under the supervision of Prof. Charles Perrings. The work contributed to the ongoing research in the department of Environment, University of York. The research was funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
